Last weekend (11th-13th July) saw the annual London Film and Comic Con hit – a new con for me to attend but one that had me hyped with the guests in attendance and possibility of a weekend to remember.

The ultimate Marvel team-up finally hit screens here last night for the UK, a week ahead of the US who get the film on the 4th May. The question on everyone’s lips since its announcement was “Could Joss Whedon pull it off?” (SPOILER ALERT!! – although I’ve tried to keep away from giving any of the finer details)

Last month, the Comics Anon team left their cold and windy hometown of Glasgow and ventured down south to the much sunnier city of London for our first Comic Con of the year – London Super Comic Con. With this being its first year in existence we were a little apprehensive about how the weekend would be, but most of those doubts were put to rest by the end of it. With a big venue, a big crowd and a big guest, it was definitely an experience the gang won’t forget. (Apologies it’s a little late – we had a few technical difficulties!)
