I’ve been at every London Super Comic Con since it started back in 2012 and thankfully it’s progressed year on year to become one of my favourites…….and this year’s topped them.

This exclusive preview was released at this years LSCC event back in March and the idea of a comic based on the inner workings of a computer seemed a typically inventive idea that the indie comic world can offer.

Secret government plots & super-soldiers combine in Eponymous from writer Mike Garley, artist Martin Simmonds & letterer Mike Stock and that front cover alone was enough to pique my interest.

Dean Beattie writes, draws and letters another hidden gem in the self-published world……with Random Trials #1……a tale of beer, crisps and a government trial gone wrong……..or maybe right.

Titan Books release It Came! sees writer/artist Dan Boultwood bring us a comedy B-Movie in comic book form which I recently picked up at this year’s London Super Comic Con back in March.

With the flashbacks of last year’s bus journey to London for LSCC, I’m pleased to say that Comics Anonymous, comprising me and our official photographer (My wife Fiona), had the train/hotel organized well in advance. The process for press passes may have become more involved with a formal application but we were lucky enough to receive two for the event and last weekend (15th & 16th March) saw the event kick-off the con calendar in style.
The countdown as on and with just 2 weeks to go 😀 it’s surely time to start some prep work……or at least take a closer look at what the hell I’m going to take to get signed…….who I’d like to maybe check-in with for a sketch…..and who would be free for an interview…..that’s IF I don’t get way to excited and get lost in comic box somewhere along the way.

It’s about 3 months until London Super Comic Con in March 2014 and I thought I’d take a quick look at who’s been announced for this year’s event……maybe even a quick look at some of the other things I’ll be keeping an eye out for at next year’s event.
