It may be just into November but I’m already looking ahead to what Comic Cons I’m keeping an eye on for next year and recent announcements on the first 2 waves of guests for next year’s LSCC in March…..yet again, has me hyped.

Following our visit to London Super Comic Con 2013 a couple of weeks back – we thought it was time for a giveaway from the Comics Anonymous gang……
The arrival of London Super Comic Con in 2012 on the UK convention scene marked one of many recent steps to bring the feel of those large US cons to the UK fans (LSCC 2012 reviewed here). Starting as they did with a guest like Stan “The Man” Lee was a sure-fire way to get the crowds in and generate a significant buzz that carried us comic-loving Brits through the weekend like a wave and with 2013’s event just a few days away we’ve still got ample time to figure out just what & who we’re going to try and see over the course of the 2 days.
2012 soon became the year of the convention for the Comics Anonymous team and while we may have experienced some in 2011, this was the first full year the blog had been going. We already had our favourites but February 2012 saw us pack up and head to London Super Comic Con for the first time.

Last month, the Comics Anon team left their cold and windy hometown of Glasgow and ventured down south to the much sunnier city of London for our first Comic Con of the year – London Super Comic Con. With this being its first year in existence we were a little apprehensive about how the weekend would be, but most of those doubts were put to rest by the end of it. With a big venue, a big crowd and a big guest, it was definitely an experience the gang won’t forget. (Apologies it’s a little late – we had a few technical difficulties!) Here’s what Craig and Gary thought about the weekend.
