Phase 2 of Marvel’s movie releases sees the return of Captain America (Chris Evans) in what would hopefully become another high point in the series (Spoiler alert!)

It’s no secret that this release has been a gem of a title and with this issue we get our first 2-part arc kick-off called “The Tape”.

My desire to sample more comics and characters has led me to seek out good introductory points for characters I’ve either been recommended or ‘just quite fancied’. Deadpool is one such unhinged and ultra-violent character that appeals to a certain part of me. I shan’t say which part. Deadpool MAX II #1 proved to be a perfect introduction to the character for me and so I would definitely recommend it to others thinking of trying out the character.
