Dogooder comics debuted Owen Michael Johnson’s Reel Love back in July at Glasgow Comic Con but I was lucky enough to get a hold of a review copy a bit earlier and was instantly swept up in this glorious title.

After a phenomenally successful Kickstarter campaign creators Michael Park & Chris Baldie had their Space Captain fully funded and it’s now set for release through Dogooder comics this coming weekend at The Thought Bubble Sequential Art Festival in Leeds with the weekend con closing out the week long series of events in style.

A weekend of comics, cosplay and sunshine included the annual SICBA awards as part of Glasgow Comic Con 2014 and there was one clear winner that swept the board….Dungeon Fun (reviewed here – #1 & #2).

It’s just a few days until the Glasgow Comic Con on the 5th & 6th of July and their’s no better way to truly start the summer than in the midst of a con that’s built up a significant following in it’s last few years, stretched to a 2-day event and now spread it’s guests, panels & dealers across three venues……a local highlight of my year and one that I’m hoping continues to go from strength to strength.

Last weekend saw Thought Bubble come to its annual climax as a week long celebration of sequential art ended with the 2-day comic con on the Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th November…..and it’s safe to say that this event has become one of the most popular events in the Comics Anonymous calendar.
