Last weekend 13th & 14th July brought two of the sunniest days so far and with some venturing to T in the Park’s 20th year……some of us were more content to stay closer to home and take in Glasgow’s Annual Comic Con, now in its third year.

Who knew that a year could flash passed so quickly and with the hyped memories of last years LSCC still fresh it was a lessened attendance from the Comic Anon gang with just me (G-Man) making the journey down to our capital for this years show. Post bus journey BUT post-hotel upgrade…..I was all set for this years event.
There’s three things that signal that the year is almost at an end – it’s dark in the mornings, the shops have Christmas decorations up and the Thought Bubble weekend. Our favourite wintry comic con that’s near the end of a long con season has come and gone – but not without a visit from comic fans, comic creators and Comics Anonymous!
Ever wanted to see the Comics Anon gang in action? Do you have a burning question to ask us? Would you like to buy us a drink? Or do you just want to stare at us blankly until we feel a little uncomfortable? Well this weekend you can do all of the above and more since Comic Anonymous will be setting up camp at this year’s Thought Bubble in Leeds!

We’re hurtling towards the end of 2012 but that doesn’t mean the Comics Anonymous gang can’t still make the last of their Comic Con’s for the year and so I made the trip to Dublin’s fair city to take in the Dublin International Comic Expo (D.I.C.E.) being run by the team behind The Big Bang comic shop.

What do comics, the desert and a rock’n’roll hotel have in common? Normally nothing at all, but for one special weekend at the end of September, the three merged together to form a very special comic convention – one we’ve never seen the likes of before and possibly may never again – and they called it Morrisoncon.
