A recent addition to my ever-growing “to read” pile was Nate Cosby’s ‘Cow Boy’ from Archaia and this jumped to the top of the pile after meeting him at Dublin International Comic Expo (D.I.C.E.) last weekend and getting a signed copy (summary of D.I.C.E. should be up soon :D)

Having been introduced to the Rust stories in Archaia’s hardback FCBD release in May (reviewed here) – it was a matter of time before I picked up and read the first volume and pick it up I did.

This latest Mouse Guard title from creator David Petersen sees him take a bit more of a backseat from writing/art duties. With a mix of creators handpicked by Petersen himself given free-reign to explore the Mouse Guard myth’s with their own brand of storytelling and keen eye for drawing a mouse armed to the teeth.
