Having only read 2 issues of this small press release this year……I was instantly a fan of writer Mike Garley, artist Josh Sherwell & Letterer Michael Stock’s apocalyptic tale.

Set in a world following the kill screen event from the title that’s left the world in a pretty messed up condition.  It’s a mix of Walking Dead meets the gaming world as we get nods to everything 8-bit and beyond while following the quest for survival.  There’s cults, there’s brainless morons trying to eat people……in fact, it could be a Black Friday sale or something but we’re saved from that fate with some well rounded characters, great plot with seemless pacing and so many little details that the whole world they’ve created is kinda somewhere I’d prefer to be……which is weird because they’re fighting for their lives. 😀

Issues #1 & #2 got a solid 10/10 from me as they impressed across the board and I’m interested to see if #3 can hold that pace and even if it doesn’t, it’s still a better read than alot of mainstream titles out there.  Ideal for that comic book fan for christmas 😉

Check out the website for more info.
