LSCC 2015

It may be just into November but I’m already looking ahead to what Comic Cons I’m keeping an eye on for next year and recent announcements on the first 2 waves of guests for next year’s LSCC in March…..yet again, has me hyped.

LSCC has become one of the main cons I plan to attend year after year as I’ve grown to enjoy this event more and more since it kicked off back in 2012.  They’ve ironed out any of the initial problems they had, shuffled the floor-plan & continued to deliver big name writers & artists in their list of guests.  The one hope for this (and every other con) is that the focus remains firmly on the comics…..and given the strength of the small press creators across the country and beyond…….the talent warrants that focus.  A look through any of my most recent posts will show you just some of that talent that’s on offer with a rich blend of titles across a broad number of titles.

So for LSCC next year – keep an eye on the BIG names but get a good look around the tables that may not include characters you know but then remember that the first issue of a character like Spider-Man or Superman had to start somewhere…

Wave 1:

Charlie Adlard
Mahmud Asrar
Lee Bermejo
Ian Churchill
Yaya Han

Emanuela Lupacchino
Michael Avon Oeming
