GrayHaven Comics

This Wednesday may be new comic book day for us but it also marks the final day of Grayhaven Comics latest Apprentice-style competition and up for grabs is the chance to have a one-shot published through them…….colour me intrigued.

While I may not be a fan of The Apprentice (which I’m sure many will paint a target on me for) I couldn’t help but read-up on the process Grayhaven have taken with their quirky approach to creating comics and with that publication as a prize – I can see why their quota of entrants was filled as fast as it was with 18 being accepted into 16 places – go figure!!  Shows how popular an approach this was and how keen these entrants were to gain some extra knowledge and exposure through the whole process.

4 challenges faced them:

Challenge 1 – Ultimate All-Stars

Challenge 2 – The Ultimate Crossover of Ultimate Destiny

Challenge 3 – Milking the Franchise

Challenge 4 – Marketing/PR

It’s almost D-Day (and the final decision will be made soon) and with weeks of head-scratching, promotion and comics behind them…..I’m sure this is actually more than just the beginning for everyone involved – let alone the winner.  So here’s good luck to all involved from Comics Anonymous and we’re looking forward to reading that one-shot and keeping an eye on those who entered.  A special shout out goes to the members of the Comics Creative Collective that we know – follow them on Facebook & Twitter now!
