Jim Zubkavich’s Skullkickers continues to entertain the hell out of me each month. If you enjoy sitting around a table with your pals, drinking beer and going ‘WAAAAAAAAIIIIII’ everytime one of you makes an arse of themselves, and other extremely intellectual pursuits, then this book is definitley for you.
Issue #11 is out tomorrow and if you haven’t preordered it then hopefully the following juicy ribeye-esque chunks of information will fill you with enough desire to phone in sick to work and go pick it up before it sells out.
The conclusion to Five Funerals and a Bucket of Blood promises more of what we’ve come to expect from the SkullKickers team: bright, bold, shit-hot art mixed with a lovely blend of quick witted one liners and low brow jobby/spew/blood gags. It includes monstrous, cabbage reeking, angry vegetation, rooftop chases, stew (yes more stew), and a healthy dose of that loveable Wee Ginger Dwarf and the Big Tall Bald Bugger.
You can expect a full review of this issue here at ComicsAnon shortly and we’d love to know what you think of you the issue.
