There are some colossal changes happening within the DC Universe right now and with only one book currently released we still have a huge amount to speculate over. There are new creative partnerships, new costumes, revived characters and even new creative talent and characters being thrust to the forefront of comics.

Sure, there are a few teaser pages out there, little snippets of stories and yes, Twitter is awash with (mis)information. Whats a reg’lar comic fan to do?

You’ll find honesty here at ComicsAnonymous.co.uk . We can’t predict the weather, or ensure the memory of Ted Kord will live on, but we can delve into that shimmering pool of complex newness, dig around among the sand and silt until we find that pearl of knowledge that brings us closer to knowing our new favourite books in the most intimate of fashions.

In the pursuit of knowledge (comics related of course!) we hooked up with Mikel Janin, who will be pencilling and inking Justice League Dark. This book is getting some serious hype right now, not least from Gail Simone, and considering it will feature John Constantine from his earlier, grittier and arguably better period, along with Zatanna, Madame Xanadu and Deadman, it’s no wonder.

Peter Milligan is writing, which should guarantee us some excellent story-telling and characterisation, considering his excellent 2000AD, DC and Marvel credentials. Janin’s name might be new to most of us. He was featured in issue 1 of Deadman and the Flying Graysons Flashpoint tie-in (see review our here) and the JLA 80 Page Giant.

You can find out more about JL Dark and read our interview with Mikel Janin here at www.comicsanonymous.co.uk very soon!!
