LOBSTER JOHNSON: CAPUT MORTUUM ONE SHOT by G-Man

Another one-shot featuring Lobster Johnson, a character from the Hellboy universe that has quickly become a favourite of mine.  Following a good, but not great one-shot just recently (The Prayer of Neferu) I was hopeful that this would be a return to form for Lobster.

LOBSTER JOHNSON : THE BURNING HAND #1 by G-Man

What could be better than Mike Mignola writing a 1930’s pulp tale?……got me…..I can’t think of anything better.  I’m a Mignola fan and I love old school characters like The Shadow, The Rocketeer and The Phantom – surely I was onto a winner?

ABE SAPIEN : The Devil Does Not Jest #1 & #2 by G-Man

Another roll of the comic book dice for the Comics Anon team brought us Abe Sapien : The Devil Does Not Jest.  Now we all know Abe from the Hellboy movies….but the most refreshing things about this tale….is that we get a complete tale within 2–issues and we get to see Abe step out of Hellboy’s shadow and hold his own.
