It’s the start of another month in 2013 and with LSCC 2013 behind us and the Age of Ultron kicking off this week – there’s still loads of other titles we’re catching up on and raving about…..
The impressive return of Mike Mignola on art/writing duties will surely continue in Hellboy in Hell #4
After an impressive cover to issue one but ultimately a so-so opener – this 5-parter has got better and better so it’s a bit of shame to see it end in Colder #5
Before Watchmen Rorschach #4 sees the end of this arc from DC
Superman #17 sees the H’El on Earth crossover come to an end but it’s one that I’ve enjoyed
This MMA title has been fairly steady and the latest issue of the 6-parter will surely setup what should be an impressive finish – Joe Palooka #4
Joe Casey kicks of his latest with Image Comics in Sex #1
We’ll see how Snapshot #2 can build on impressive opener from this Diggle & Jock title.
Brian Wood’s latest release has impressed me from the start and we hit the halfway mark in Mara #3
More twisted tales from Nick Spencer in Bedlam #5
Bendis & Hitch kick-off the latest Marvel event with Age of Ultron #1
Daredevil End of Days #6 sees one of the best titles out just now hit the last few issues of it’s 8-part run (Reviewed #1,#2 & #3-5)
There’s more ghost-Petey action on offer in Superior Spider-Man #5
Powers Bureau #2 sees the latest Bendis/Oeming title hit it’s stride.

Last week’s stack
Last week we summed up how London Super Comic Con 2013 went and there was a definite improvement on the previous year.
We also had a look at the FCBD 2012 release of Avengers: Age of Ultron ahead of the 10-part epic kicking off this week.
Favourite Cover
‘Lost Vegas‘ kicks off this week from Image Comics too and the B cover for this stood out among the standard covers – although there are some pretty impressive variants out there again…..I’m sticking with this:
Where we’re at
First week of March and we’re catching up on our reading pile…..wondering what Thought Bubble will be like this year as the tables sold out in record time (2 hours)…..and getting hyped for the new Iron Man 3 trailer due any day now.
