Vampires and Watchmen and mutants, oh my!
New releases
DC has another Before Watchmen #1, this time Nite Owl. Highlights from the New52 include the awesome The Flash, the very cool Supergirl and the kinda-OK Superman, all at #10.
There’s a new story arc on Vertigo’s American Vampire #10.
The trade of the P.E. arc in IDW’s Morning Glories goes on sale this week. Well worth a read, and still not too late to go right back to the beginning and catch up. It’s incredible. Read our interview with writer Nick Spencer here.
The second arc of Fatale starts with issue #6. Read Gary’s review of issue #1 here.
Marvel has AvX tie-in Wolverine and the X-Men #12, Spider-Men #2 and the X-Men Schism trade. Under the Icon imprint, Millarworld is releasing Hit-Girl #1.
For a full list of new releases, see PREVIEWS.
Last week’s stack
I haven’t read a single thing since last week and didn’t even manage a Wendesday post, but the gang’s been reading and writing a-plenty. See Craig’s reviews of Mars Attacks, small press gem No More Heroes, Batman and Robin and Planetoid.
Where we’re at
Some of the gang’s heading over the Glasgow Comic Con. Grant Morrison’s been announced and if he is in fact there, there will be one hell of a queue. Me, I’m off the Manchester for the Stone Roses gig – any good comic shops in Manchester worth checking out?
